Multiple award winning rapper Michael Owusu Addo known popular as Sarkodie in music, on his social media Twitter handle indicated Apostle Kojo Sarfo Katanka offered service to mitigate the intermittent power crisis ( Dumsor ) in the country which government and stakeholders declined.

Although the power contract details was not revealed by the rapper, he did show remorse to such failure in a tweet he wrote ” I visited The legend Apostle Kojo Safo Kantanka🙏🏾 few days ago and I was amazed!!!! So I didn’t know he offered to solve Dumsor … Before y’all come at me with y’all comment, why are we (the government x the people) not giving him the chance to ?? “

It looks worrying to have a government policy of moving “Ghana Beyond Aid” and there is little increasing usage of local craft to save public purse on hanging debts from external power deals sign over the last decade.

Billions of dollars have been spent and there looks no salvation to power crisis ( Dumsor) in recent years, but there is an increase cost of external exploitation which may be remedied on exploring local specialist.
