Shatta replies Sarkodie’s ‘Alumi diss’; says he is nobody

For those who were expecting Shatta Wale to react to Sarkodie’s ‘diss’ in his song, ‘My Advice,’ the dance hall king has finally responded.

Shatta Wale replied when he performed at the launch of his ‘Reign’ album at the Fantasy Dome in Accra on Saturday.

“I want some nice girl wey e dey here wey e bi Sarkodie fan, I wan give am my gold chain make e go check if I ever wear alumi before,” he said.

When no Sarkodie fan went forward, Shatta Wale then concluded that Sarkodie was nobody.

“E no get fan for here then e mean say Sarkodie be nobody,” he added.

Sarkodie recently released a ‘diss’ song supposedly targeted as Shatta Wale.

In the song, Sarkodie alluded that Shatta Wale is fond of chains made of aluminium.

He also addresses the character who he claims is fond of discrediting other people and describes reserved people as not smart.

He states in the song that he has always advised the character, but he does not heed his advice.

This comes on the back of recent attacks on Sarkodie and some other musicians by Shatta Wale.

According to Shatta Wale, he is the richest musician in Ghana – and that Sarkodie and other musicians are poor.

He states in the song that he has always advised the character, but he does not heed his advice.

Few hours to the launch of the ‘Reign’ album, Sarkodie took to twitter to promote Shatta Wale’s new album.

“Reign by Shatta Wale. Stream x Download Now,” Sarkodie tweeted.

Some have said that the two planned the ‘beef’ to hype the ‘Reign’ concert.

The concert was attended by thousands of music fans across the country.

Shatta Wale performed some of his hit tracks to the fans who had come from far and near to support him.

Other people who shared the stage with him were Shatta Michy, Ramzy, Efe Keyz, Zylo and the Militants.
